Incredible ‘Independence Day’ Tuesday

| June 8, 2022

We had an incredible “4th of July” themed day at camp; which was kicked off with another chilly Polar Bear Splash to wake us up, followed by breakfast to fuel us for the busy day ahead.
The morning was filled with cabins competing in 4th of July backyard party inspired challenges including: who could spit a watermelon seed the furthest, bouncy obstacle course races, water gun soaks, a dunk tank, and Frisbee golf. None of us were able to complete them all without being covered in water, watermelon and wacky smiles!
After a yummy pizza lunch, we headed to the pavilion to take our annual Cabin & All Camp photos before enjoying some well-deserved quiet time. We filled our afternoon with refreshing pool time, arts & crafts, fishing and many cold treats to beat the heat.
Everyone enjoyed Taco Tuesday for dinner before getting their game faces on for Color Wars & water balloons, which were an absolute blast. Not sure how we crammed so much fun into one day, but somehow we did!
